NYSA offers an employment programs called BladeRunners which gives people aged 16-30 the tools, certificates, confidence and opportunity to reach their fullest working potential.

BladeRunners is for those who have encountered barriers or challenges in finding and/or keeping employment. NYSA staff work alongside individuals to encourage, empower and support them through this four-week, paid program.

The main employment fields being focused on are – Construction and Customer Service, however, there are new programs being tested. Determining which program is running, participants are able to receive various certifications

ACES (Acquiring Community-Based Employment Skills) is a province-wide program, that offers resume/cover letter development, interview, skills enhancement training, supported work experience to individuals facing multiple barriers to employment.
